Bodil Leitch will bring some very interesting work stories with her when she moves into the village in the coming months. The newest addition to the Gulf Rise community made headlines recently, due to the time she spent as a crocodile hunter in the 1970s while travelling in Australia. Bodil, originally from Sweden, fell into crocodile hunting by accident, falling in with some local hunters who taught her how to shoot crocs for their skins while camping out in the bush.

Her story was covered in Hibiscus Matters in June and while times have changed since then, she was happy to share this very interesting work story from her past with reporters. Bodil is looking forward to her move into the village.
